The Terminal List TLG19
The Glock 19 is my favorite carry pistol. I have carried Gen 3’s - 5’s and find, for me, that it’s the most practical and best fit pistol for defense. I have owned several custom 45 ACP 1911-style pistols that have cost several thousand dollars. While these were excellent, tack-driving pistols, I personally did not find them practical as defensive carry pistols. When I decided to look for a customized Glock 19, I found a recent article in a popular gun magazine about the TTI Terminal List TLG19. After reading about it and then checking more into it on the TTI website, I realized that this was the pistol that I wanted. The selling points for me are that it’s a TTI custom, it’s relatively low cost compared to a custom 1911, and it’s done on my favorite platform. I picked up the pistol from my LGS last week and took it to the range today. Normally when I break in a new pistol there is widely varying accuracy when starting out with FMJ until 50 rounds or so. Also there is the variance between FMJ and defensive rounds, like Hornady Critical Duty/Defense with the FTX bullet. However, with my TTI TLG19 there was minimal variance in accuracy between the FMJ first rounds and the last. Also, there was only slight variance in accuracy when moving to the defensive rounds; I was able to put 100 rounds into one(!) to two inch groups on a standard range target. The TLG19 is the most accurate, low recoiling, and smoothest shooting G19, or any Glock, that I have shot. To say I am pleased is an understatement. I recommend the TLG19 for anyone who shoots and/or carries a Glock 19 as their primary pistol.
