Noticeable Improvement
Posted by Nate on Jul 10th 2020
Can’t go wrong with this addition. Added it to my 20 ga Montefeltro for turkey hunting. Trigger has less pull weight and feels crisper. Cheapest upgrade I’ve done along with the hammer spring.

A must for Benellis
Posted by Brad on Jul 8th 2020
This is my 3rd set, this time for my new Ethos BEST that will be my new dove and duck gun. The trigger on the Ethos is a little different on the SBE/SBE2 and you need to remove both pins, but still pretty easy.

Short and crisp

This spring allows you to shorten and really keep it smooth. I’m not a competition shooter in the 3gun world but I shoot a lot of different clay games along with a good bit of bird hunting. Shotguns are my main gun I use and these springs made my Benelli a lot more comfortable too shoot.

Noticeable Trigger Pull Reduction
Posted by JRemy on Aug 27th 2019
Installation was no issue and did it within 5 minutes of finally being able to sit down and accomplish the task. Installed put the gun back together to test fire the gun and make sure it worked properly in a dry fire. There was a noticeable reduction in trigger pull.
I bought this in addition to the reduce hammer spring as I took my shotgun out for some trap shooting and noticed it struggled with the light loads. With the combination of the two, it seemed to dramatically reduce the action pull back as well. I go back out next week for some fun and will see how well everything holds up then. -
reduced versa max trigger pull to 5.5 lbs from 8.25 lbs
Posted by trdjohn on Aug 25th 2019
Installation was super easy on Rem Versa Max Synthetic. Only installed the trigger reset spring, lessened the pull to 5.5 lbs from 8.25 lbs. This is a bird gun and occasional skeet gun, so it brought it to acceptable level. Worked fine with 1145 fps Federal and Winchester target loads, no issues with trigger reset on doubles. After early dove season I'll replace the hammer spring and see how much it lowers it from 5.5 lbs

As advertised!

So this is the missing link it turns out. If you want your benelli m4 to run silky smooth and ultra fast. Replace this spring as well as the trigger spring. It makes a World of difference.

Modest reduction in trigger pull.
Posted by James King on Jul 17th 2019
Trigger plus hammer spring reduced trigger pull from 6.5 pounds to 4.5 pounds. As expensive as the springs and shipping were I had anticipated a trigger pull in the 3-4 pound range. Obviously my expectations were higher than reality.
