Shotgun Oversize Bolt Release
*Drilling and tapping required (5/40 tap, #38 drill).
Will work on Benelli Shotguns & other shotguns with similar bolt release configuration.
Made of aircraft grade aluminum with mil spec hard anodizing.
Designed to be big enough to easily & quickly release the bolt in the heat of competition but not be too big to get caught on things on a defensive tactical shotgun.
Extensive testing of prototypes as well as previously existing bolt releases has proven this design to be perfect in size and dimension.
You never want to run your shotgun dry during a match but, if you do, this part can help you get back into action as fast as possible.
The TTI Oversized Bolt Release has already proven itself by winning all major divisions at the 3-Gun Nationals in 2013 as well as the 3-Gun Nation Championship.
Used and trusted by the best 3-Gunners on Earth:
Keith Garcia, Nils Jonasson, Jesse Duff, Katie Harris, Clint Upchurch, Rob Romero, Jansen Jones, Randi Rogers, Kurt Miller, Todd Jarrett, Chuck Anderson, Burton Thompson, Allie Barrett, Blake Miguez, and the Taran Butler, himself.
Creates a lot of real estate

I love TTI products. I have the oversized safety, ultimate charging handle and multiple base pads. This is in the same catagory of quality. Love it and it works just as expected. The only reason I give four stars is for instructions. Had to really go looking to find the tap was 5-40. I installed this on a Benelli M2 and don’t know if this matters to folks but noticed that the button was not a solid machined piece but pressed into the arm of the release. Over time this may decide to rotate and if that happens... the shape of this button may be problematic as it rotates with the button. Just a thought and I could be totally off base... anyway... great product for the price.

These will be on every one of my benellis. They are the right size to be functional and not too large that they hang on everything. They look good as well. I don't compete but hunt just about everything that flies and this is the best $25 you can spend on yr gun.
Simple & Effective Upgrade

This is right in line with the quality of Taran products and is a very simple yet effective add on. I drilled, tapped and re-blued the OEM button while I had it out for polishing and just bolted it on when I received it. I put some blue thread locker on and tightened it down and it's not going anywhere. Much easier now just to slap this release instead pressing the little button.
Make this your first add-on!

The bolt release button, as stock, is way too hard to press in a timely fashion and without moving my hands and/or the gun into an extreme position. This extension cures that problem! Now I can use my support hand under the action or over the action to send the bolt home and get back to running the course. Install requires a drill press, a bit I did not have and tap I did not have. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have Taran Tactical offer a "kit" that contains the oversized button, drill, and tap. But really, that's on the customer to read the description.
A MUST HAVE

Works great, was a little tentative about it staying put without being machined like a Briley but so far has worked awesome with zero issues. Looks great works great ,makes closing the bolt effortless, have on 2 Benellis now.
High speed stuff!

Great quality, perfect size. Other oversize knobs I looked at on the market were just too big for my preference. This one is perfect, works great. The screw included is 5-40 size. You'll need a 5-40 tap and a #38 drill bit.
Easy to find in a hurry

I installed this onto an FNH competition shotgun. Yes, you are required to drill and tap your original release button, which can be a bit unsettling at first, but once you get it all apart you'll find it to be quite easy. MUCH easier than opening a loading port. Once installed, your hand finds it very easily under pressure, the extra leverage means less effort, becomes very natural. If your factory button is domed, this probably won't work, if it's flat, will work on just about any shotgun. Great idea!

I didn't read that drilling and tapping were required for installation of this. i'm not a gunsmith, so had the extra cost for that. (I think it should come with a replacement pre drilled and tapped button). Otherwise, it makes it much easier to close the bolt in a hurry without having to physically look for that damn little button.
