Great product, easy to install
I love these mag extensions. They are very easy to install and you don’t have to mutilate your mag as with some mag extensions. They also feed reliably and have a clean, simple look. I will be purchasing more!!!
The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

The Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK +2/3 base pad works on GLOCK models 19/23. This base pad will add 3 extra rounds in 9mm and 2 extra rounds in 40 Caliber to the magazine. This base pad does add a little extra weight to the magazine which helps the empty mag drop free easier for faster reloads. This TTI GLOCK base pad, just like all of our base pads, is designed to give you the edge over your adversaries. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning your magazines between stages. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad onto the magazine and push the pin up to lock the base pad onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

So I was looking for different options pertaining to which mag extension I should go with. I have different mag extensions for my other firearms. I was really pleased at how easy the mag extensions install on my magazine. Super fast shipping and such a great product. I ordered 3 for my Glock 19 gen 4 MOS. THEY DO SHIP WITH THE APPROPRIATE +5 SPRINGS. I wasn’t sure if they came with a spring or not, so I ordered 3 additional springs. I definitely recommend these mag extensions!!
The Taran Tactical Base Pad For Glock 19/23 OEM 9/40 Magazines (in my case, a Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS), is a great investment in your kit. I researched many base pad extensions and decided on this particular one. The one-piece, high-quality high-end aluminum construction, paired with relatively easy and very secure installation, helped make my decision. The only suggestion I would offer to Taran Tactical would be to organize the product description and installation instructions a little bit more clearly, and also let people know what to expect on how it should feel to slide the extension past the two Glock magazine side tabs (it feels like you're going to break the magazine but you won't). The spring and assembly without need for special tools are excellent. I was seeing lots of people on YouTube talking about tightening the set screw to tension against the patented baseplate pin, and then thankfully realized that Taran Tactical actually is very clear in recommending NOT to touch the set screw. Excellent purchase and will buy more for other magazine.
