Love the mag extensions
Just got a kel-tec with a glock 17 pistol grip. I have used these extensions on other mags and as always they are top notch.
The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

TTI Firepower Base Pad Kit for GLOCK.
The Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK +2/3 base pad works on GLOCK models 19/23. This base pad will add 3 extra rounds in 9mm and 2 extra rounds in 40 Caliber to the magazine. This base pad does add a little extra weight to the magazine which helps the empty mag drop free easier for faster reloads. This TTI GLOCK base pad, just like all of our base pads, is designed to give you the edge over your adversaries. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning your magazines between stages. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad onto the magazine and push the pin up to lock the base pad onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

Been training for two months for competition and I recently decided to upgrade to a Taran Tactical +5 extension. The quality of the material was phenomenal. At first, I did have a couple feeding problems using a Glock OEM magazine the first ~40 rounds, but since then I had broken in the spring enough that I haven’t had a problem since. Once or twice in the beginning after making a fast reload with the slide back on my 34, after loading in the new mag the slide racked forward without my assistance. Haven’t had that problem since, but I’m keeping my eye on it. Allows for easier, faster reloads and fits perfect with my Agency Arms magwell. Would definitely recommend for a friend.
Over all a great purchase and I am very happy with the +5 and +3 that I purchased but the +3 bolt would not turn when I went to tighten it eventually I got it to go by stripping it out now its permanent!! TTI Rep: Per our product description and on our FAQ page, we set the screw with Lock-tite, it is not intended to be tightened. Our basepads are a tool-less design, just push the pin down, slide it onto the magazine and push the pin up. The pin is set with a little bit of tension so the screw will not fall out. If the basepad pin falls out contact us and we will get you up and running. Trying to tighten the screw will result in stripping the screw and voiding your warranty.
