I love this product.
The extension I got for my G23 is really nice. It feels good on the release adding extra weight. The 2 extra rounds is really nice. It's not too bulky to conceal. Over all I love it and will be ordering more.
The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

TTI Firepower Base Pad Kit for GLOCK.
The Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK +2/3 base pad works on GLOCK models 19/23. This base pad will add 3 extra rounds in 9mm and 2 extra rounds in 40 Caliber to the magazine. This base pad does add a little extra weight to the magazine which helps the empty mag drop free easier for faster reloads. This TTI GLOCK base pad, just like all of our base pads, is designed to give you the edge over your adversaries. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning your magazines between stages. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad onto the magazine and push the pin up to lock the base pad onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

I purchased the mag extension alongside the Hyve tech mag extension. After doing research I kept see g these two companies. After purchasing both I immediately saw the differences. Both good quality but the Hyve tech was extremely bulky, didn't seem suitable for concealed carry. The taran tactical, just felt and looked amazing, and after a few hundred rounds, let's just say I'm defiantly ordering more soon.
I own six of the G19 +5 base pads, one +1, and one +2 base pad for the G43. I have owned them for quite some time now and shoot these guns every weekend. I go through about 1500 9mm rounds a month on aveage. Long Story short, I have had 1 failure to cycle on a G19 (other variables at play, of course) and 1 malfunction on the +2 G43 extension, which happened the first day using it. The +2 spring/glock follower was somehow stuck at the bottom of the mag. The bullets were loose in the magazine tube because lack of tension. I hit the base pad with my palm a couple of times and it sprung back up. This malfunction has never happened again. Since then, I have had zero issues. I test them by keeping them loaded all week long, then shooting/reloading them on the weekend shooting day.
